The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkeling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off limits to visitors.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – 01st November 2019 : Arrival at Port Blair to Corbyn’s and Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail. : On arrival at Port Blair, Women Voyagers Representative will receive you at the Airport and escort you to check in to the Hotel / Resort. After check-in at the hotel in the afternoon, proceed for visit to Corbyn’s cove beach – a coconut fringed beach about 8kms from Port Blair city ideal for swimming. Visit to National Memorial Cellular Jail – it was built by Britishers in the years 1905 to imprison Indian political freedom fighters. Late in the evening, witness the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle brought alive. Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Port Blair.
Day 2 – 02nd November 2019 Port Blair to Havelock : In the morning from Phoenix Bay Harbour get transferred to Havelock Island via ferry from Port Blair. On arrival at Havelock Island, our representative will receive and escort you to selected hotel. After freshening up, journey towards Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), the Times Magazine rated it the finest beach among the best beaches in Asia. It is an ideal place for swimming, sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach. Stay here overnight amongst sandy beach and lush green forest in a comfortable beach resort at Havelock
Day 3 – 03rd November 2019 Havelock Island to Kalapathar Beach. : In the Morning after breakfast, visit to Kalapathar Beach- the island is primarily populated by Bengali settlers. This picturesque Island with beautiful sandy beaches and lush green forest. This Beach is very beautiful and peaceful, spend memorable time on the beach. After a day spent on the sandy beach reach back to hotel. Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Havelock.
Day 4 – 04th November 2019 Havelock to Neil Island : After breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Neil Island via ferry from Havelock Island. On arrival at Neil Island, our representative will receive and escort you to check-in to the resort. After rest sightseeing of Neil Island would start, our representative would take you to Laxmanpur Beach, Sitapur Beach, Bharatpur Beach, Howra Bridge & Rock formation. It is an ideal place for swimming, sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach.
Note: Laxmanpur Beach is the sunset point and is a major attraction; water sports activities are available in Bharatpur Beach. Overnight stay at Neil Island.
Day 5 – 05th November 2019 Neil Island to Port Blair to Shopping. : According to boat schedule reach back port Blair by ferry. On arrival at Port Blair, we will go to Phoenix Bay Harbour and escort you to check in to the Port Blair hotel. Then in the evening our car will take you for local shopping. Trinkets and souvenirs from local materials like shell, bamboo and coconut are available in plenty. You can also buy pearl jewellery, mats made from local padauk wood and driftwood pieces from the Sagarika Government Emporium in Aberdeen Bazaar. Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Port Blair.
Day 6 – 06th November 2019 Port Blair to Ross Island and Excursion to Coral Island/North Bay After breakfast, Visit Ross Island, the former residential and administrative island of the British during their rule of South East Asia, was nick named the Paris of the East. This island was completely destroyed in an earthquake, now in ruins. Then excursion to Coral Island (North Bay) to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life. This is an ideal place for snorkeling as this sandy beach coupled with clear water creates a breath-taking spectacle. Please carry your lunch pack, drinking water & changing dress. Water sports activities available here are Scuba diving, Under water sea-walk, Snorkeling, glass bottom boat ride, Jet ski-water scooter, Banana boat ride, speed boat, etc.; (on direct payment basis). Overnight stay at respective Hotel at Port Blair.
Day 7 – 07th November 2019 Depart from Andaman Island : Drop at Port Blair Airport for further journey with wonderful memories.
