Rakcham is a small village with several lodges and hotels and many apple gardens that add to the beauty of the place. It is nestled between the mighty snow covered peaks and a lush green landscape and looks like an absolute heaven on earth. Rakcham lies at an altitude of 2900 meters and is relatively unknown for many people.
Kunzum Pass, is a high mountain pass on the eastern Kunzum Range of the Himalayas. It connects the Kullu Valley and Lahaul Valley with the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh. It is on the route to Kaza the subdivisional headquarters of Spiti. It consists of fifteen (15) sharp hairpin turns, testing driving skills of even experienced drivers.
Tashigang is a village near an ancient monastery in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is the highest settlement in Spiti Valley, and is located in the Sutlej river valley near the India-Tibet border. Below Tashigangis flows the Sutlej river, which originates from Mansarovar Lake in Tibet. The villages of Nako and Khab are nearby.
